I thought at least we could be friends
Sometimes the pain seems to never end
I believed in you and your words
Now what you’ve said seems all obscured
You knew how I felt about you
You knew that I really cared to
Tears have fallen from my eyes
Is everything you’ve said just lies
It’s hard for me to believe you were not true
As my heart has cried out to you
For all the things that I have done
Why did you let our friendship go unsung?
Was everything we’ve been through just a lie?
